This is a composite image I made of my late friend, Sam Melville. The left half is from a photo his widow gave me and the right half is from an old TV Guide cover dated Jan. 27 - Feb. 2, 1973. The Rookies starred Sam Melville as Mike Danko and Kate Jackson as Jill Danko. This is a modified, lower resolution version of an image used on the entrance page of Sam's official website, of which I am the webmistress.
